Also, it says here that this editor is new, so why not post an entry after just a few years, right?

Not that I have to add too much at this point, but since Facebook has ruined social media and Twitter most of the time can‘t even be considered social in a positive way maybe this old platform is a good retreat.

Dear diary!
Today I stood up early, so I had plenty of time to fiddle around with my mind while still in bed.
I managed to read teh facebooks, G++, the LJ friends page and brought the number of unread McSweeneys internet tendency shorts to under 50, yay!! :-)

Vorgestern kam vor "True Grit" eine Vorschau zu einem bald erscheinenden Papstfilm und ich möchte allen prospektiven Kinobesuchern dringendst raten, eine Kotztüte mit ins Kino zu nehmen, solange diese Seuche nicht vorbei ist.

Wer die aktuelle Zugunglücks-Berichterstattung von Hordorf verfolgt, kann sich mal fragen, warum auch am Tag danach immer noch niemand davon spricht, dass der Personenzug offenbar ganz einfach  pünktlich unterwegs war.
So von wegen die "Suche nach den Ursachen dauert an".

I don't want to become this a weird Detroit mourning blog or something and the 16 today's Guardian photos by Yves Marchand and Romain Meffre don't show anything that hasn't been shown or discribed elsewhere already.
